When the opportunity came to update the visitors' clubhouse at Guaranteed Rate Field, the first instinct was playful - make it hard to focus. The more considered response was respect: a neutral palette aligned with the home team's colors, no blatant branding. Working within MLB guidelines under the Illinois Sports Facility Authority, the locker room, training room, and showers received full material and lighting upgrades. The service kitchen and lounge were enlarged. A new video room brought the space up to current standards. A good, honest project for a team with deep South Side roots.
